ADVANCE ORDERS: No deposit is required for us to reserve an item for you in advance. You may pay for your dolls IN FULL in advance, or wait until they arrive and then pay for them. You will not be contacted prior to shipping, even if the shipping schedule is months behind, because we have no control over when Mattel ships items. When your entire order (either single items or groups of 2 or more dolls, at your discretion) comes in stock, your credit card will be automatically billed and your order automatically shipped to you. There may be additional shipping charge to split an order. Because we order and /or hold items in good faith for you, If you wish to cancel any or all of your order, you may do so as long as the item has not arrived. Preorders thru our eBay store require immediate payment as per eBay rules.

PAYMENT: Money orders, personal checks, Paypal from a CONFIRMED address, Visa, and Master Card cards are accepted. Personal checks take 14 business days to clear.

For payments with Paypal, Checks or money orders, email first for a total ammount due.

Standard: First doll or item is $10-20.00, each additional doll is $2.00-10.00, each, depending on size, value, weight and distance. For an additional fee, the Post Office offers Next Day, and 3 day priority shipping. We will ship using YOUR Fed Ex, or UPS account number for an additional $6.00 handling fee.

US POST OFFICE: You will be billed exact charges plus $6.00 handling fee. When ordering, please specify Global Priority or Global Express and how much insurance coverage. Don't tell us to state a $5.00 value, but insure for $500.00. That don't work folks, sorry. Your Old Friends Doll shop will not send out any uninsured and therefore untraceable package sent through the US post office. Note to NON US CUTOMERS: If you wish to save on shipping rates, we can take your newer dolls out of the box and send in smaller packages. We have to use so much packing material to protect the box, if you take you dolls out of the box, let us do it for you, and save on shipping.

LAYAWAYS: For your convenience, layaway is available on purchases of $100.00 and up.
Up to $500.00. 1/2 down, 1/2 in one calendar month.
Over $500.00 1/3rd Down, 1/3rd within 30 days, and final payment within 60 days. I do not send out payment reminders. All items on layaway will remain in the possession of Your Old Friends until completely paid for. No returns or cash refunds on layaways. Cancellations receive credit, which may be used on any item we offer for sale.

RETURNS:
We do not accept returns on MIB OR NRFB items, vintage or new, except for the following;

WRONG ITEM SENT:
1) Call within 48 hours and get a return authorization.
2) Enclose all invoices and receipts inside the box.
3) Please put your name and the return authorization code on the outside of the box.
4) We will at our discretion, send the correct item or refund your money.

DAMAGED ITEMS:
1) For ALL items call within 48 hours and take the item to your post office in the original shipping carton for inspection and to file a damage claim.
2) You must return the damaged item and the original shipping box, otherwise the post office will refute your damage claim.

SORRY, NO REFUNDS ON SHIPPING FEES.

ANY RETURNS, IF ACCEPTED, OTHER THAN WRONG ITEM OR DAMAGED ITEM MAY BE SUBJECT TO A RESTOCKING FEE OF 25% of the total invoice.

CONDITION GRADING SYSTEM
I use both condition grading systems of 1 to 10, with 10 as perfect and 1 is probably usable as a dog toy or, in the case of clothing, a dust rag.
C-10 or Mint Absolutely perfect.
C-9 or Near Mint (NM) Almost perfect. Like my typing.
C-8 or Excellent condition. Played with, but gently. Not your favorite outfit or doll as a child.
C-7 or Very Good condition. Average condition. Possible to spiff up with some care. You enjoyed this item.
C-6 or C-5 Good Condition. Probably needs some work to make it presentable. You really liked this item and so did all your friends.
C-4 or C-3 Fair condition. The brat next door got a hold of this item. Needs a lot of work to make it presentable.
C-2 or C-1 Poor condition. Probably useful for buttons, a limb or the name tag, but that's about it.
